Sept. 26 Math 2
Today we worked on the median-median line using data comparing the height of individuals to the size of their shoe. On Wednesday, we will have a quiz over the median-median line so homework is to study for the quiz.

Today we reviewed shortly before the final unit 1 test. Then we took the unit 1 test in class.

Today we continued learing about the median-median line, writing a set of directions as a class to help us understand and comprehend the multi-step process.

Today we played a review game to get ready for Monday’s test over the first unit. Homework was to study for the test.
Sept. 22 Math 2
We introduced the median-median line in class. The median-median line is an eight-step process to find a statistical line of best fit. It is a significantly better way to find the line of best fit besides “eyeballing” because we are actually using data from the scatter plot to determine the line.

In class today, we took a quiz over correlation, line of best fit, and scatter plots. After the quiz, we reviewed the class rules, procedures, and expectations.

Today we worked in groups on a project centered around NBA stats describing correlation, scatter plot, and line of best fit.
